Jesus Gives Us Warning
Jesus gives us warning in the Gospelsregarding the many conditions we all will be facing on Planet Earth before His return to the Mount of Olives, when He comes back to rule and to reign from Jerusalem. Jesus gave His disciples the following answer to their questions:
He said, “…take heed that no one deceives you, as many will come in My name…” – imposters pretending to represent Him, yet from another spirit, a spirit of deception.

So we must all be alert, having the knowledge given to us in Scripture and with discernment and understanding, so that we are able to remain faithful to Him, in order that we too are not deceived. We must take heed to His words, as He warns us “…many false prophets will rise up and deceive many
Let us therefore be in prayer and remain vigilant in order to cover one another from the onslaught of deception thereby correcting in love, and tough love where needed, seasoned with “Grace and Truth” in order to bring accountability and correction to those who are willing to be corrected and would seek forgiveness, which is necessary for the sake of the whole Body of Christ.
This way the Truth will prevailover the deception from Satanvia these false prophets and their prophecies. The LORD has shown to us in Scripture His warning that deception and many false prophets would be one of the signs that will take place before the End of the Age.
1 Corinthians 13:8-10 8Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there aretongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
The Signs of the Times and the End of the Age
AND JESUS ANSWERED AND SAID TO THEM
Matthew 24:3-14
3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
COMMENTS: The “many false prophets” Jesus speaks about in the Scripture gives us good insight regarding Satan’s work to deceive as he always seeks to hinder and stop the gospel of the Kingdom being preached to all nations, as Satan is looking to extend his own dominion on the earth and change his final prophetic destiny as written and prophesied in scripture, that will bring in the End of the Age.
False prophets and false prophecies are clearly a deception by Satan as a way to deceive the gullible and even the very elect of God if it were possible. The work of Satan has always been to draw man away from God by deception, as he did in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve, wanting to destroy the Word of God to God’s creation, Man, and the fellowship God desires to have with Man. Satan purposes to continually undermine and deceive man from the “Truth” – that Abba Father God sent His Word that became flesh, His only begotten Son, being full of Grace and Truth by the way of Jesus Christ, even our Salvation and deliverance from sin and from Satan, offering to us forgiveness by Father God to all those that believe on His Son’s name.
The false prophets always undermine the “Truth” that is God’s Word, as they come also in His name (wolves in sheep’s clothing) but are inspired by other spirits, wrong motives and attitudes of pride and domination, seeking to deceive into error by using their position and form of control to entrap those by their deception who are earnestly seeking and desiring the “Truth”, that is given by the Father to us all in Jesus Christ our LORD.

Matthew 24:24 For false christ’s and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
Behind the “false prophets and their false prophecies” is a spirit of deception (“take heed; do not be deceived”, Jesus said.) These false prophecies are from, or inspired by, Satan the angel of light, as he uses the false prophets who have been knowingly or unknowingly deceived of the “Truth” with a false light in a prophecy that is not from God or totally inspired by the Holy Spirit, as Satan purposes to lead people by the spirit of deception into error and lawlessness.
(The false prophets in their deceptioncan be following a false demonic realm of authority, being deceived of the “Truth” and the true authority in Jesus Christ by being bound in pride and rebellion)
Philippians 2:5  Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: [Let Him be your example in humility].
1 Corinthians 14:32-33  And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. 33 For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.
Humility is the mind of Christ, His Body honoring one another and submitting in humility to the authority and the witness of the Body of Christ (Philippians 2:3-11)    (1 Thessalonians 5:19-21)
Many will be deceived by false prophets and their prophecies in the last days, according to Scripture, as they, the many false prophets and or prophetesses – step outside the boundaries of Scriptural Truth and accountability to deceive many.Humility allows testing for “Truth”.
Once a false prophecy is exposed the need then is for the prophet, prophetess, publishers and/or endorsers to be held accountable to what they have said and proclaimed by firstly acknowledging the wrong and by renouncing the spirit of deception and the false spirit of the false prophecies. This action is required not only for their restoration that is lovingly open and available to them (the false prophets) but to all who have erred and have been deceived by them, so often unwillingly, but also for the future protection of the Body of Christ from further false prophecies of deception through them. This doorway of acceptance is the doorway of true repentance, as repentance acknowledges the wrong and is important when a false prophecy has been released. so the false deceiving spirit does not remain over the Body of Christ.
Forgiveness, healing and restoration are freely givento all those that genuinely and sincerely humble themselves and repent from being influenced by the deception of the false prophets. “God is love”; His desire is to restore and bless when the fruit of true and sincere repentance is evident. Seek first His kingdom and His Righteousness, as the Love, Grace and Truth in Jesus gives opportunity for repentance.
We are all vulnerable to deception and need the love, the grace, the Truth and the opportunity to repent when required, as deception is one of Satan’s main weapons he uses against the Word of God and the followers of Jesus so as to destroy the Spirit of Truth, as Satan is the father of lies. We, as believers, fight not against flesh and blood; but against the principalities and powers and the wicked spirits in high places of the many deceiving spirits of this Age.  (Ephesians: 6)
Love covers a multitude of sins to all those that sincerely repent.
SPIRITUAL OVERSIGHT
Please pray for a “spiritual oversight” of strong brethren of renown, lovers of Truth in the Body of Christ, to be raised up to protect by discernment and wisdom the prophetic prayer ministry particularly in our region of Asia and the Pacific. In 2011 two day-dated, failed, false prophecies were received by our ministry from Christians, one of the false prophecies sending Christchurch City and Region into a tail spin and confusion; this false prophecy unleashed a spirit of “fear and terror“. This dishonored the Body of Christ, pastors, elders, leaders, the people in the region; as well as the prayer and prophetic ministries throughout the nation, as it went viral, allowing the enemy (Satan) to undermine the Good News of the Gospel of the Kingdom.
A warning and witness was given to the persons promoting and publishing the prophecy that the prophecy was not in alignment with scripture and “not of the Spirit of Truth”; both were unwilling at that time to receive the discernment and surrender the publication of the prophecy to others in authority and leadership of the city and the region. We must all learn from this experience and apply correction so as to protect the Body of Christ in the future, where possible, from people that are in deception and lead other people into error. The Body of Christ, the pastors; elders and leaders should always be recognized by those that prophecy and publish, as God’s vessels to test and bring a true witness to any regional or nationally released prophecy. This is also good for the prophet’s and publisher’s protection, and their ongoing ministry to the Body of Christ; and most important, to the honor of the Name of Jesus.
(Truth brings challenge to false prophecy, exposing the false prophets)
This year early in 2012 a further prophecy was sent to the ministry for discernment, to test and weigh up the content. On receiving, the prophecy was then forwarded to other reputable and discerning prayer leadership with knowledge and insight for their comments. The prophecy and the international prophet was checked and tested and found to be out of order with Scripture, and the Salvation only found in Jesus. A previous dated prophecy by the prophet also had failed and the prophet’s own personal doctrine comments were out of alignment with God’s Word, a clear warning and check was received.
Due to this finding a caution is also given to include prophecies that   we receive from International Prophets in these days; and in particular any specific dated prophecies. If you have received any prophecies that are day-dated please bewareand “take heed”. We must be prayerful; “testing, weighing and discerning all the predictive prophecies, and the prophets’ credentials, their ministry and validity, checking in the Spirit with the Body of Christ’s leadership, with a clear witness and the Word of God.
The prophetic record of the prophet is a good indicator of the prophet’s credentials, whether he is a genuine True Prophet of God or a “false prophet.” Has his, or her, previous prophecies failed? If so, “beware and take heed”, as Jesus said, before receiving any new prophecies from that source as being a “True” word from God. Check first what other leaders discern and listen to their wisdom. Do not try to justify a false prophecy that has no witness; if it is “True” let God confirm. For in the end we all want only God’s “Truth” in all prophecy.
Full testing of all new or suspect prophecies, with leadership and seeking their confirmation and endorsement is wisdom; especially those prophecies with National or International significance that may be suspect. Words spoken in prophecy bring life or death; as false words defile the Body, as life or death is in the power of the tongue. (Proverbs 18:21).
With such a false prophecy there can be a spirit of death released; this is why prophetic discernment is essential due to the harm such prophecies can do.True repentance by those that give this type of failed prophecy releases the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus and brings healing and cleansing to the people, while destroying any yoke of death. Prophecies can seem to be correct but are false, so testing, weighing and discerning is a Scripture requirement for all prophecies, for our own protection.
If a witness against a prophecy is given by the Holy Spirit this is normally a signpost, like a stop sign, as being out of order, or a false prophecy. Take prayerful authority in Jesus’ name. (Luke 10:19) First, bind the strongman of deception and the subtle working of any false deceiving spirit with the prophecies. Proclaim a release and cleansing from all the residue and defilement of the prophecy, asking Abba Father for His protection, grace, mercy, forgiveness and healing from the false prophetic word in Jesus’ name.
It is better to err in caution, than accept all as being true, from prophecies that we receive. God is able toclearly show the authorities and Body of Christ those prophets who are prophesying in the Spirit of Truth and those that are prophesying and ministering under another spirit.

There should never be a battle over a prophecyamongst believers in the Body of Christ, but each prophecy is to be weighed and discerned and must bear witness with leaders; elders; pastors; associated ministries and the Body of Christ as having been sent from God.
1 John 2:21  I write to you not because you are ignorant and do not perceive and know the Truth, but because you do perceive and know it, and [know positively] that nothing false (no deception, no lie) is of the Truth.
The Spirit of God is within us; the very Spirit of Truth Who bears witness with our spirit on whether the prophecy is either True or false. A mixture that contains both truth and error is dangerous in a prophecy as this brings confusion, doubt and fear, as the Holy Spirit, the “Spirit of Truth”, dwells within us. The prophecy is either true or false.
“God is not the author of confusion but of peace” (1 Corinthians 14:33)
Satan the master deceiver seeks to present a prophecy in such a way that it seems to be from the truth but it is in a false light (deception) and we need to beware, alert and discerning.
The most dangerous false prophet is one who works within the Body of Christ. We must beware and not ignorant of Satan’s devices, as a false prophet and prophecy defiles all in the Body of Christ, dividing the Body, causing division and immeasurable harm.
WAKE UP CALL”  FROM THELORD
This is a reminder to all; that the work of deception is now present among us; as many are being deceived by the plotting of these prophets with their prophecies that are being freely circulated and easy to obtain on the web. We all must take responsibility, individually first, and test and check the prophets out with other reputable leadership; even reputable ministries can also be deceived and defiled, so we all must cover one another in prayer with due diligence; in Godly love for the Body of Christ, and with a True Testimony in Christ. “Truth” desires to be, and is, willing to be tested by all.
(A True Prophet desires to be tested, as testing confirms the Truth)
Those that believe they have a prophetic word from the LORD for wider regional or national publication must first surrender the prophecy to their local or regional authority and recognized leadership for witness and discernment. A signed endorsement by leadership is the mandate required that the prophecy has true witness as being sent from God and available for public release.
Again this brings accountability and protection to all, including those that prophesy. For by one Spirit we are baptized into one body, so as a body; together we endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
When a prophecy has been surrendered to a ministry for discernment and prayer, being checked for authenticity, this does not mean that it is approved by that ministry, or can be sent to others to publish by giving the publisher and recipient readers a false perception that the prophecy has been approved as being legitimate by carrying the weight of the person’s name and the ministry they represent who are testing the prophecy. If persons are named and published without their knowledge and endorsement, this is a further form of “false witness and deception”.
Names mentioned as endorsements for a prophecy should be checked also by the publisher as normal procedure and common courtesy; this brings a further protective measure for all ministries. Satan will usurp any opportunity to deceive, divide and destroy the Body of Christ. Any endorsements can be attached at the base of the prophecy by being signed by the endorsee, as transparency brings accountability, credibility and acceptance as being of the “Truth”.
Publishers that send out false prophecies with a false witness are responsible and accountable to Godly authority and correction.
If you are sent a prophecy for “prayer and intercession” as being part of the prayer and prophetic ministry, then that is what the prophecy has been sent for; that is for prayer and intercession. The LORD may have given a revelation that needs effectual fervent prayer; it may be even a warning, as the Holy Spirit does give to prayer and intercessory ministries, so do not seek to publish and post the prophecy as it is for prayer and intercession only, unless stated for public distribution and then it must be endorsed. (James 5:16)
False prophets do not like transparency, accountability, correction or admitting to being wrong, with a true and sincere repentance.
Timothy 4:1 [The Great Apostasy] Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons.
As prophecies can fail according to Scripture (1 Corinthians 13:8) therefore no absolutes can be given outside of Scripture. Day-dated prophecies can be bound in deception, witchcraft and even operating with a clairvoyant predictive fortune telling spirit of deception; these sorts of prophecies have a long record of failure.
Jeremiah 23:21 21I did not send these [false] prophets, yet they ran; I did not speak to them, yet they prophesied.
Abba Father God can intervene and change a situation with answered prayer as He did with Jonah and the city of Nineveh. God does not call the people of God to pray and make intercession (standing in the gap) and not answer His call that He has given, as He is a faithful prayer answering God and we trust Him to confirm His Word of “Truth” to us.
Jeremiah 14:14 The Lord said to me, the [false] prophets prophesy lies in My name. I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, nor have I spoken to them. They prophesy to you a false or pretended vision, a worthless divination [conjuring or practicing magic, trying to call forththe responses supposed to be given by idols], and the deceit of their own minds.
We must test the prophecy, all true servants moving in prophecy as we all may prophecy according to faith and scripture must always give the prophecy over to the listener hearer or receiver for testing to the glory of God
TRUE  PROPHETS  AND  PROPHECY
1 Thessalonians 5:19-22 19 Do not quench the Spirit. 20 Do not despise prophecies. 21 Test all things; hold fast what is good. 22 Abstain from every form of evil.
We must keep also in balance that prophecy is good and encouraged by the LORD and is also for today’s churches gathered in His name. The Bible itself is a Prophetic Book; Jesus also is the “True Prophet” of God bringing forth and proclaiming “Truth” that He is the only way to the Father; speaking only the Words the Father asked Him to speak. Jesus went about teaching and preaching the Kingdom of God of those things that would happen to Him as spoken by the Prophets and brought warnings to all, of what would happen before the End of the Age as written in Matthew Chapter 24. Jesus spoke to all that followed Him and who listened to His Words, the Word of the Father.
The New Testament is a fulfillment of the prophetic Wordspoken that was given by the Old Testament Prophets who were Holy men moved by God. Jesus was a fulfillment of the Prophetic Word given in the Old Testament as spoken for example by the Prophet Isaiah, in Isaiah 9:6-7, speaking prophetically of Jesus.
Isaiah 9:6-7
For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince of Peace .7Of the increase of His government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from the [latter] time forth, even forever more. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this”.
Prophets and the prophetic word are relevant today and integral to the Gospel of the Kingdom of God and the New Testament fellowships;as Prophets are given to the church with the other ascension gift ministries (Ephesians 4)for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministering and the edifying of the saints…”
We must distinguish between God’s call to the office of a Prophet, called and anointed of God (Ephesians Chapter 4) and the gift of prophecy to the Body of Christ (Romans 12:6).
The Body of Christ has been called to be a Body of intercessory prayer, as the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of intercession who dwells in each born again believer. This is the true house of prayer made up of living stones, or redeemed ones, praying in the Holy Spirit, the temple of God (Romans 8:18-39) according to the will of Abba Father).
Romans 8:26
Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered.
Prophets are called and anointed by God to speak on His behalf as part of the five fold Apostolic calling to equip the saints for the work of ministry (Eph 4: 11-16). We all, as members of Christ’s Body, should honor and pray for the “True Prophets” to be released and speak God’s Word in the nations with an openness to hear in the Body of Christ and to receive them who are sent by God with God’s Word as they minister in the power of the Holy Spirit as a mouthpiece for God and for His glory. The New Testament Church according to scripture is built on the foundations of the Apostles and Prophets. The center and head of the Church is Jesus, the chief Cornerstone.
Ephesians 2:20 You are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Christ Jesus Himself the chief Cornerstone.
Ephesians 4:11-16 11  And He Himself gave some to beapostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head Christ 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
1 Corinthians 12:28
So God has appointed some in the church [for His own use]: first apostles (special messengers); second prophets (inspired preachers and expounders); third teachers; then wonder-workers; then those with ability to heal the sick; helpers; administrators; [speakers in] different (unknown) tongues.
Romans 12:6
Having gifts (faculties, talents, qualities) that differ according to the grace given us, let us use them: [He whose gift is] prophecy, [let him prophesy] according to the proportion of his faith.

2 Peter 1:21
For no prophecy ever originated because some man willed it [to do so — it never came by human impulse], but men spoke from God who were borne along (moved and impelled) by the Holy Spirit.

Isaiah 44:25
[I am the Lord] Who frustrates the signs and confounds the omens [upon which the false prophets’ forecasts of the future are based] of the [boasting] liars and makes fools of diviners, Who turns the wise backward and makes their knowledge foolishness

Acts 20:28
Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God

Revelations 1:3
Blessed (happy, to be envied) is the man who reads aloud [in the assemblies] the word of this prophecy; and blessed (happy, to be envied) are those who hear [it read] and who keep themselves true to the things which are written in it [heeding them and laying them to heart], for the time [for them to be fulfilled] is near.

Revelations 19:10
Then I fell prostrate at his feet to worship (to pay divine honors) to him, but he [restrained me] and said, Refrain! [You must not do that!] I am [only] another servant with you and your brethren who have [accepted and hold] the testimony borne by Jesus. Worship God! For the substance (essence) of the truth revealed by Jesus is the spirit of all prophecy[the vital breath, the inspiration of all inspired preaching and interpretation of the divine will and purpose, including both mine and yours].

PROPHETIC  ACCOUNTABILITY
1 Corinthians 14:29
So let two or three prophets speak [those inspired to preach or teach], while the rest pay attention and weigh and discern” what is said.

Prophets’ prophecies are weighed and discerned, locally, nationally and internationally. The Holy Spirit aids the testing and checking confirming whether it is of the “Spirit of Truth” or of another spirit.

False prophets who have no intention to honestly and sincerely repent of false prophecies that have been witnessed and judged among many that the prophecy given out is not of the “Spirit of Truth” and proven to be false due to clear failure of their prophecy, yet they continue to try to justify and further deceive the body; these false prophets must be held accountable for what they have said and what they say in the future; with a warning to the body of Christ, as this is also needed as a protective love measure to the brothers and sisters in the LORD.
Once false prophets are warned and choose to continue rejecting the counsel and correction of elders and local and regional authority, they must be challenged and made accountable by the true authorities for the protection of those vulnerable in the body of Christ.

Proverbs 12:17
He who breathes out truth shows forth righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God), but a false witness utters deceit.
Satan quoted Scripture to Jesus in His temptation in the wilderness, so a mixture of God’s Word may be used by false prophets but the source of the spirit can be from Satan, this is why Jesus tells us to “take heed”, we must “beware” and diligently test (prove) everything amongst the Body and THEN stand in TRUTH.

John 8:32  And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.

Satan, by using God’s Word the Scriptures, brings confusion and fear by the way of deception and false witness, presenting the false as being of the Truth. Sharp discernment is required and prayer should be continually upheld for a clear Body discernment of what is deception and what is “Truth” or error. Please read: 2 Thessalonians Chapter 2.
Jesus said (Luke 10:3),  “Go your way; I send you out like lambs in the midst of wolves – there are many wolves and many false prophets. We must keep our eyes on Jesus the good shepherd and listen to His voice while submitting to those that hold authority with a humble spirit; honoring one another in the mind of Christ so all can be protected (Philippians Chapter 2). Testing, weighing and discerning all things with the Word of Godand witness from pastors, elders and leaders and the Body of Christ as Abba Father will keep us safe and secure in Jesus’ name through to the End of the Age, and the days of the “false prophets“.

2 Peter 2:1 BUT ALSO [in those days] there arose false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among yourselves, who will subtly and stealthily introduce heretical doctrines (destructive heresies), even denying and disowning the Master Who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.
Mark 13:22  Falsechrists (Messiahs) and false prophets will arise and show signs and [work] miracles to deceive and lead astray, if possible, even the elect (those God has chosen out for Himself)
Matthew 24:24  For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

THE  SILENT  VOICE  IN  THE  CHURCH

The Scriptures’ instruction and warning is clear: by revealing deception as a tool in Satan’s hand so as to lead us into error and draw us away from God. Much of the voice of the Church is silent and is not willing to speak out or stand up for the love of the Truth; as the “Truth” is not “politically correct”, and nobody wants to step out of, or rock the boat; as many may be offended with the “Truth” including those holding responsibility in leadership. Keeping a political correctness by being silent and saying nothing is actually passivity; instead we must activate Truth in Love with a strong voice and stand up and be counted for what is right and just, thus protecting the more vulnerable sheep from the agendas of the false prophets and their prophecies, by warning the Body of the witness given to us by the Holy Spirit, which is the very purpose for this booklet.

(God’s Word is Truth and Jesus is the Truth revealed by Abba Father)

Jesus challenged the religious spirits of His time as they were His main resistance; many of the religious leaders knew God’s Word but misrepresented the “Truth” and the revelation of the Word. Jesus openly rebuked them and even used a whip against the money changers at the temple of Abba Father’s House, saying clearly ..my house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations and you have made it a den of robbers” … Jesus did not shrink back or mince words but spoke the Truth and challenged those who were out of the divine order of God’s will.
“Jesus enemies of the Kingdom were religious leaders with knowledge of scripture yet did not know the truth –the Word made flesh…Jesus
It is now time to fight the bear and the lion; the false prophets of this age and their prophecies. Shepherds and all leaders are called to arise and take responsibility and speak out to protect the vulnerable flock of God from these false spirits, deceivers of the brethren, just as David did for the sheep of his father’s pastures.

1 Samuel 17:34-35
34And David said to Saul, Your servant kept his father’s sheep. And when there came a lion or again a bear and took a lamb out of the flock,35I went out after it and smote it and delivered the lamb out of its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard and smote it and killed it.

1 Timothy 3:15
If I am detained, you may know how people ought to conduct themselves in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and stay (the prop and support) of the Truth.

PROPHECY  TO  BE  TESTED

1 John 4:1
BELOVED, do not put faith in every spirit, but prove (test) the spirits to discover whether they proceed from God; for many false prophets have gone forth into the world.
Testing the spirit brings discovery of the many false prophets; as the “True Prophets of God” would desire their prophecies to be tested by reputable brethren and be subject to God’s Word and discernment in the testing, as the “True Prophets” would only want the “Truth” released.
God’s leaders and people need to speak up and Voice the Truth. Manytimes the “Truth” is compromised with an acceptance of the false spiritsthrough soul ties that also can become evident from the personal supporters for a false prophet, a form of deception that gives an opportunity for Satan to enter in to divide the flock and further destroy God’s family, causing the love of many to become cold. If a false prophet and his prophecy are not corrected, the door is also left open for Satan to continue his deception to the brethren unhindered. (1 Cor. 3:11-17).

Ephesians 6:12
For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.
We can see from the Scripture the power of deception; that even the disciple that Jesus loved, Judas, who sat at the table with Jesus, betrayed Jesus by his own choice. Judas was sitting at the table with Jesus and the other brethren and being in His presence did not stop Satan entering into Judas and betraying Jesus; let us prayerfully take heed also, not being ignorant of Satan’s desire to deceive.
We all must be diligent and alert, testing the spirits to see whether they are from God; for in the last days, the Scriptures tell us, there will be doctrines of demons and Satan will be moving with false signs and wonders even causing fire to come down from heaven; as many false prophets have gone into the world. These false prophets are subject unto themselves and their own code, and their own conduct and circle of influence, not willing to be subject to Scriptural testing and Body witness as they are under their own self appointed authority that leads many into deception and error causing damage to God’s temple, the living stones. (Mark 13:22, Revelations 13:11-18, Revelations 19:20)

1Timothy 4:1
But the [Holy] Spirit distinctly and expressly declares that in latter times some will turn away from the faith, giving attention to deluding and seducing spirits and doctrines that demons teach.
Jesus, in the Gospel of Matthew chapter seven, teaches us all to “beware of false prophets” and how to know and distinguish who are the false prophets and true prophets. Many false prophets will arise in the end days, being a greater reason for alertness, testing and diligence.

JESUS SAID
You will fully recognize them [the false prophets] by their fruits”

Matthew 7:15-20 Beware of false prophets, who come to you dressed as sheep, but inside they are devouring wolves. 16You will fully recognize them by their fruits. Do people pick grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?  17Even so, every healthy (sound) tree bears good fruit [worthy of admiration], but the sickly (decaying, worthless) tree bears bad (worthless) fruit.  18A good (healthy) tree cannot bear bad (worthless) fruit, nor can a bad (diseased) tree bear excellent fruit [worthy of admiration].  19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire. 20 Therefore, you will fully know them by their fruits.

How do we know they are false prophets? It is simply just as Jesus said “By their fruit you will fully know them.  This is the distinguishing factor revealed to us in Scripture giving us all clarity on whether the prophet has been sent from God or not.
THE  HELP  OF  THE  HOLY  SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit gives discernment of what is good fruit and what is bad fruit; by the witness, through testing, that He gives to the Body of Christ; and those who hold responsibility for what is needed in prophetic discernment. The fruit of the good prophecy must be in alignment with the fruit of the Holy Spirit as revealed in Scripture: love; joy and peace; even prophetic warnings sent by God will have God’s presence with it when sent by Him to warn His people. When a warning is given by the Holy Spirit through His vessels, His wisdom which is from above and not earthly is always first peaceable and easily to be entreated and always bearing witness to the “Truth” and purpose of God who is our Heavenly Father; a God of love, ready to forgive and to save to the uttermost. (James 3:17, Exodus 6:6)

When dealing with deceiving spirits, a strong word of rebuke is often needed (Jesus did this also.) We first must bind the strongman (Matthew 12:29), the spirit of deception, and the words of the false prophecy and the effects of those words; strongly rebuke the false spirit in Jesus’ name in prophetic prayer while standing on God’s Word and in His presence. Any person wanting to be loosed and set free from the demonic spirits of false prophecy, including the false prophets, need to humble themselves in sincere repentance.
John 7:18                                                                                                         He who speaks on his own authority seeks to win honor for himself. [He whose teaching originates with himself seeks his own glory.] But He Who seeks the glory and is eager for the honor of Him Who sent Him, He is true; and there is no unrighteousness or falsehood or deception in Him.
Luke 3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance…
Matthew 3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance…

BEING  SET   FREE  FROM  INVOLVEMENT  WITH
FALSE  PROPHECY
Romans 2:4…the goodness of God leads you to repentance…”
When a person is ready and willing to respond to Jesus’ command with a humble and contrite spirit of humility unto obedience, the following Scripture guidance will help bring healing and release for persons wanting to be set free by receiving the counsel of Scripture and discernment from those that are willing to stand in prayer and intercession to set the captive free in Jesus Name.
Acknowledge first that you have been deceived with a false spirit which is not of the Holy Spirit, for “reconciliation” based on “TRUTH”.
  1. Humble ourselves and repent of the sin of any false prophecy, deception and error. (James 4:6-7, Luke 1:4, Luke 3:8)
  2. Renounce Satan and the spirits of deception and all that is of Satan and the sin of false prophecy. (Psalm 68:20, Acts 26:18)
  3. Call on the name of the LORD for forgiveness and healing with a forgiving heart. (Matthew 26:8, Luke 1:77, Matthew 18:35)
  4. Deliverance, healing and restoration can take place for you and to the body of Christ. (Psalm 35:9, 2 Corinthians 5:19)
  5. Stand delivered and cleansed by the blood of Jesus. (Eph:1:7)
  6. Walk in the light of God’s Word as revealed in Holy Scripture (John 12:35, 1 John 1:7)
  7. Be FREE in Jesus’ name and be submissive to the Body’s authorities. (John 8:36, Matthew 10:8, James 5:16, 1 John 2:12)

We must always remember where our victory over sin and Satan took place; and that was at the Cross of Calvary where Jesus dealt with Sin and with Satan and the powers and principalities, including the deceiving spirits of the false prophets and their prophecies.

1 John 1:9 If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature andpromises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].

At the victory of the Cross of Christ; Satan’s power has been stripped from him. Jesus’ name is above all names and above the deceiving powers of the false prophets of this age. (We also need to acknowledge  the sin of grieving the Holy Spirit, of “All Truth;” asking Abba Father for His mercy, forgiveness, restoration and reconciliation to the Body of Christ in Jesus and to all that have not obeyed His Word).

1 John 3:8b The reason the Son of God was made manifest (visible) was to undo (destroy, loosen, and dissolve) the works the devil [has done.]

1 Corinthians 12:12  For just as the body is a unity and yet has many parts, and all the parts, though many, form [only] one body, so it is with Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

2 Corinthians 2:14 But thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph [as trophies of Christ’s victory] and through us spreads and makes evident the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere.
Revelations 3:10 Because you have guarded and kept My word of patient endurance [have held fast the lesson of My patience with the expectant endurance that I give you], I also will keep you [safe] from the hour of trial (testing) which is coming on the whole world to try those who dwell upon the earth.
John 1:17-18  For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.
Revelations 3:14  Andto the angel (messenger) of the assembly (church) in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the trusty and faithful and true Witness, the Origin and Beginning and Author of God’s creation

PRAYING  IN    THE  SPIRIT  –  LOOKING  UNTO  JESUS

Hebrews 12:2
Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
In Summary we must keep our eyes on Jesus the author and finisher of our faith as we are reminded by “His Words”  “…take heed that no one deceives you,as many will come in My name…”  These are the false prophets that will come in His name seeking to deceive many.
We are in a spiritual warfare together before Jesus returns to rule and to reign on the earth, as we are not fighting against flesh and blood but against the enemy of the Cross and the deceiving spirits of this age (Ephesians Chapter Six).
Ephesians 6:18                                                                                                    Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.
Let us encourage ourselves in the LORD and His mighty victory that Jesus has achieved for each one of us when He defeated Satan at the Cross of Calvary; pray then always with fervent prayer, being ever alert and watchful praying for all the brothers and sisters in Christ.
Our focus must be on Jesus and in prayer, being alert with a thankful heart to God and in all things asking the LORD to keep us and guide us in His ways, with His Grace, Truth, Love and to walk in them as guided  by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.
Together we hold before the LORD in prayer those that are blinded in deception through the work of the false prophets and their false prophecies while honoring one another in Christ; standing firm in the Truth and in love; unmovable; seeking only for His Glory and His name to be exalted in Righteousness, Justice and in Truth.
Let us take the authority in His Name and bind this strongman of deception over our region of Asia Pacific and especially over the Body of Christ; overcoming the lies and the spirit of deception of the enemy in the power of the Holy Spirit; with the Spirit of “TRUTH” proclaiming Jesus Christ as LORD and soon coming KING.
Psalm 119:10  Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
Revelations12:11 And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony; for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing].
Jesus is our victory, not only as Saviour from our sins, but as victor over every weapon Satan forms against God’s people. The victory is ours and we are instructed to overcome Satan by the power of the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony in Christ’s victory for us.
Isaiah 54:17                                                                                                  No weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the LORD.
PAUL THE  APOSTLE – TO THE CHURCH

Acts 20: 26-32                                                                                                   26 Therefore I testify and protest to you on this [our parting] day that I am clean andinnocent and not responsible for the blood of any of you.                                      27 For I never shrank orkept back or fell short from declaring to you the whole purpose andplan and counsel of God.
28 Take care and be on guard for yourselves and the whole flock over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you bishops and guardians, to shepherd (tend and feed and guide) the church of the Lord or of God which He obtained for Himself [buying it and saving it for Himself] with His own blood.
        29 I know that after I am gone, ferocious wolves will get in among you, not sparing the flock;
30 Even from among your own selves men will come to the front who, by saying perverse (distorted and corrupt) things, will endeavor to  draw away the disciples after them [to their own party].
31 Therefore be always alert and on your guard, being mindful that for three years I never stopped night or day seriously to admonish and advise andexhort you one by one with tears.
32 And now [brethren], I commit you to God [I deposit you in His charge, entrusting you to His protection and care]. And I commend you to the Word of His grace [to the commands and counsels and promises of His unmerited favor]. It is able to build you up and to give you [your rightful] inheritance among all God’s set-apart ones (those consecrated, purified, and transformed of soul).

FIVE  KEY POINTS  TO  TEST  PROPHECY
1.Is the Prophet and the public prophecy endorsed by recognized mature leadership? If so who are they? Transparency is important (1Thess: 5:12-13)
 2.  Is the prophecy in alignment with the Truth of God’s Word? (John17:17)
3. Is the name of Jesus “Grace and Truth”, revealed to us, even when a warning or judgment is given within the prophecy published? (John 1:14)
4.  Is there a general witness of the prophecy with others outside your own area of influence that can discern and weigh up prophecy while keeping the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace? (1Thess:5:21, 1 Cor:1 4: 29-33)
5.  Trust others for their wisdom and witness, especially your local and regional leaders; pastors and elders. Always be willing to surrender the prophecy as in the mind of Christ to Abba Father; and leave it in the hands of all wisdom at the foot of the cross in Jesus name (Heb:13-17)
(Always check day dated and directive prophecies of calamity and allow leaders to confirm whether the prophecy bears witness with the “Truth” and sent from God, as many false prophets will arise and deceive many?)
Satan is the cunning serpent, and in the end days he resorts back to doing what he knows best; deceiving and tempted Man as in the garden.

THE TEMPTATION AND THE FALL OF  MAN

Genesis 3:1-7.  Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LordGod had made And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’”
Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.

PRAYER  OF  FAITH                                                                                                Dear Father in Heaven, we thank you for your warnings you have given to us in your Word because you love us in Jesus. We pray for a sharp discernment in the Body of Christ for the protection of your Body. Rise up, dear Father, Brethren of renown, leaders that are willing to speak out for the sake of the vulnerable and expose the false prophets of this age. May those that have been deceived by false prophecy and follow false prophets have their eyes open and seek the freedom you give and deliverance from every form of deception? Have mercy on us Father in Jesus’ name, as any one of us can be deceived by Satan and we need your Wisdom, Grace, Mercy, Truth and the voice of authority to speak out when necessary. Teach us your ways Father and keep us faithful in your Word, for your Word is Truth.

     Amen.
